MINISTRY: On Thursday the 17th I travelled to Pacaipampa to participate in the pastors' congress that is held every year in this part of the mountains. The place of our meeting was San Lazaro which is about three hours from Pacaipampa. I thank God I had the privilege to preach the message of the Word on Thursday at the Pacaipampa's church. On Thursday the 18th we arrived to San Lazaro, where almost 2,000 souls gathered to hear the Word of God. As soon as I get to the place my health got weak, but this wasn't a problem to preach the message on 1 John, and in the afternoon teach about the family and the church. After every class I rested because of my health. Thankfully, God gave me the strength during the conference. On Sunday the 20th we arrived to Pacaipampa and my health was improving, so I was invited to preach at the church, which I did gladly. I met with my family after 4 days absence and I got home with my health very deteriorated, so I couldn't work at the youth congress. I am much better now and I thank God because when I can't work, He ministers to His people with other servants. CHURCH: While I was ministering in the mountains, my father took care of the church, thank God for the group of pastors! I thanked the body of Christ for their prayers while I was out. I shared my missionary experiences with all the church, and there were 70 people, some of them remained standing during the message. The Mallaritos church has acquired more land which we didn't have before through the government of Sullana. This situation fills us with joy because we are expanding our territory. Our goal now is to build our church building. Our brothers are very happy with this project, and we have promises of faith which are being given for this purpose. Evangelization is something that we continue doing, in the evenings we have meetings by groups in homes. Sunday School has grown a little. When I came back from the mountains a married couple decided to dedicate their new-born daughter to God. As a church, we have participated in the campaign "READ THE BIBLE", encouraging the people to read the Word of God. Even though when the sinner doesn't want to listen God's voice, we have to go to them and pray as if God did beseech by us: Be reconciled to God. May God continue to bless your lives. Blessings in Christ. Pastor José Luis S.
