Greetings in Christ our Lord,

In the month of  September I was in Amazonas with the Aguarunas leaders, teaching a module for them. I taught about missions and church planting. Also, I encouraged them to design a map to show where there are churches and to place a cross over those areas, to place an star over the towns where there is no church. I asked them to pray that they would be able to enter those areas and then plant churches there. Fifteen leaders attended and we spoke about the Chapras tribe which is very remote and is a possible place to take the gospel.

The Chapras have a strange custom: when a young man wishes to get married with a young woman from his tribe, he has to bring his own sister to exchange her for the woman whom he wants to marry. This is a strange custom from this tribe and they are very deep in the jungle. We also talked about how last year news from all over the world showed communities from the border between Peru and Brazil living like a stone age tribe, because they were naked and wandering going from one place to another. To enter into these tribes we recommended entering through friends and some acquaintances who are already married or have families and who know their language.

Pastors from the coast: The first monday of every month I preside over a pastors meeting in different parts of the region. We plan evangelistic campaigns, camps, etc. We raise offerings to help building church buildings, or to help some pastor who may be sick. We also give advice to some of the pastors.

At the seminary I am currently teaching a class about angels. At the church I am preaching and teaching on Sundays.

I also counsel the pastors who come to talk to me at home. Other times they borrow a projector to show videos. For instance, pastor Alejandro A. borrowed one, which he is using in the field for evangelistic campaigns.

Thank you very much for your support and offerings and also for your prayers. May God keep you and bless you.

Your brother and co-servant in Jesus Christ:
Angel C.
