Dear Brothers in Christ,

Once again we have the privilege of communicating with you to share with you what The Lord is doing in this part of Lima.

I want to tell you about some things that The Lord has allowed me to go through. This week there was a protest led by the people from our part of town. They were protesting and blocking the main highway of Lima with stones. Before they went out to do this, I open air preached the gospel to all of them, and warned them that God doesn't approve of these kinds of things.  All of them rejected the message and they said that those who wouldn't go had to pay a 20 soles fine. Then they all left and when they came back many of them were injured because of the police retaliation.

Also, I want to share with you that I had the opportunity to visit the Lurigancho prison where I was able to share with two young men. They were very interested and wanted to know more about God. I told them that we would continue to talk in my next visit. Please help us with your prayers for us to speak the truth and to not be  promising things that we are not capable of following through on. There are many groups that are doing this and are creating some resentment and rejection toward all of us who are preaching the gospel.

Now I would like to share the testimony of our brother Oscar. He is 39 years old and has five children, four daughters and one son. He is married but divorced, then he got remarried. God found him in this condition and he is now a brother who serves the Lord helping me in the work. He reads the Bible a lot and has a very disciplined home serving as an example to many of us.  Please pray for him in these difficult times in which he is going through financial trials.

Thank you and God bless you.

Your servant,

Miguel S.
