Blessinigs to all of you, brothers and sisters from HeartCry. May the abundant grace, love and peace of God be upon you all the days of your lives. We thank you very much and pray for you everyday because of the blessing that you are in our lives and in the lives of many people around the world. Now is a time when The Lord is doing wonderful things throughout the world and we continue to see how He is changing many lives with the power of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Among many things that happened this month, we went out in the streets to open air preach with a group of brothers who are planting a church in Ate. This church is going to be helped by the Church of The Savior with doctrine and evangelism. It was a wonderful time, and we are very encouraged that these fine men of God are already open air preaching on their own in this area of the city and in other areas too. We went with them to downtown Lima to preach in the main square of the city, but sadly when we had been preaching for about five minutes, the police suddenly appeared and didn't allow us to preach there because of a constitutional law which doesn't allow anybody to open air preach near the government building. We obeyed the law and left the place but not before witnessing to some of the people who were already listening there. To God be the glory! Also we continue going to pastor Ernesto Z.s' church to help with the youth and with evangelism. My wife and I are counseling the youth there and we had the privilege of ministering to two new girls who seem to have responded positively to the gospel. We had the conference in which received the visit of our brother Arlen from Brasil, and we went to open air preach to several places of the city. He was so encouraged to find so many brothers and sisters in the Lord who really love the Lord and have the same God given desire to glorify His name. After the conference was finished we went to Brazil with pastor Martin and brother Arlen, and had a wonderful time there. We are beginning to see how this huge country is responding to the true gospel. We had wonderful times of preaching in the streets, twice a day, 12:30 pm and 4 pm, from Monday through Friday. We could see how people gathered in the squares to hear the gospel and to recognize their need for the Savior. Many people stopped and asked about our church and were very open to listen to the truth. We went to our brother's house where we had bible studies, directed by pastor Martin, where some brothers and sisters asked many questions about doctrine, etc. There was a pastor too, who agreed with everything we said. There's a great need to plant a biblical church there where the many brothers and sisters who are discovering the truth, could gather together as the body of Christ. Please pray for our brother who preaches three times a week in the square, and who we think is being directed by God in this path. There's a lot to do in that city, so we ask you to pray for God to send the help that they need to begin this work. Belo Horizonte is a city of six million people where there doesn't seem to be a biblical church, everything is miracles, prosperity or any kind of cult and false religion. On thursday evening pastor Martin preached at a local church where we had been invited. The people there were very touched by the message. Also, on Saturday evening, I had the privilege of preaching the gospel in a Baptist church in a nearby city. I was so moved by the carnal attitudes of all the members that the Holy Spirit led me to deliver a very strong message on repentance to the whole congregation, pointing out the mistakes of the false evangelism methods which make people think that they are saved when sometimes they really aren't. Weeping and with sorrow in my spirit I begged them to repent and believe in Christ for their salvation. It was a time when The Lord broke me in pieces and made me see the true state of Christendom. Only God knows who really responded to the gospel. Returning from Brazil I went to the village of San Pedro de Casta, with brother Tito (a member of our church), to preach the gospel to the people there, and to see about the possibility of helping the brothers with doctrine and resources. It was very encouraging to find two sisters who seem to love the Lord and are not into idolatrous practices. The vast majority of the village are totally opposed to the gospel, and they don't care about their state before God. This was an initiative of brother Tito, who having been there three months ago, wanted to go preach to all the people there, and needed some help to go, so I decided to go with him. We are praying for these sisters and many others who heard the gospel but didn't repent. May the Lord have mercy on them. Something amazing happened when we were returning home on Sunday, I preached on the bus on the way to my home, and when we left the bus, a young guy came to us running telling us that he was a Christian and wanted to know of a Baptist church for his mother. This young man was from the jungle, from the city of Iquitos, and having studied for about two years in Lima, he is going back to Iquitos where he's going to work in his church. He asked me for a meeting because he wanted to tell his church about the Church of The Savior, and they want us to go to their anniversary to hold a conference with other churches there. So I went with him to talk to pastor Martin, and God willing we will go there in November for the conference. It would be a great opportunity to share the true gospel and other important biblical doctrines wich are so relevant in our days. Please pray for The Lord to do His will in all of this. We continue answering many e-mails from brothers and sisters from many countries who have discovered the true gospel and need help in their respective cities. Please pray for these brothers who often times are alone and don't have a Biblical church to attend. Well, it’s been a very blessed month where we have seen many things that the Lord is doing and we glorify God because everything is from Him, for Him, and through Him. Glory to God! My family is very well and we continue to grow in the grace of God. To end this report, I want to thank you very much for all your help, prayers and support, and we pray that God continue to bless you and use you for His glory and honor. In Christ, Alfonso N.
