Dear brothers in Christ:

My dear brothers in Christ, May the Lord bless your lives and your families’.

I am really encouraged in seeing what the Lord is doing. Many people are writing every day telling us the great things God has accomplished in their lives. Every day we pray for wisdom from the Lord to help our brothers in different countries. People write us and tell us about the amazing things the Lord has taught them.

I want to tell about Scott Dollar. He is a pastor of a Baptist Church in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. He and Matt Rollings, a brother in Christ from Canada too, were here in Peru fof a short trip. The main purpose of their visit and the vision from the beginning has been to support a local indigenous pastor, as HeartCry does it. The trip was a huge success as they made significant progress in planting churches in the Yanamarca Valley and some potential areas for the future. They had a few meetings with two local Peruvian pastors (pastor Moisés and pastor Rodolfo), along with two potential church planters (Miguel and José). Please pray for these two young men and the calling the Lord has put in their heart. They are going to a tough area that is not always open to the Gospel. They will need a tremendous prayer support to persevere for the glory of God.

I spent time with them and this was a great time and I was tremendously blessed by their heart and devotion to God. They have brought 26 copies of John Piper’s book “Let The Nations Be Glad” and other 26 copies of Mark Dever’s book “Nine Marks of a Healthy Church” for every HeartCry missionary. I am very thankful for the resources that they brought for 26 missionaries from HeartCry throughout Peru. In addition to this we have been got connected with the pastors and Church planters that Scott and Matt were working with. Both Pastors and the two Church Planters will be traveling to Lima for HeartCry’s Conference on the Sufficiency of Scripture in August.  It will be a big encouragement for these people. PRAY that this conference greatly encourages and strengthens the faith of Moises, Rodolfo, Miguel & Jose.

They are also planning out their future trips to support them and help them proclaim Christ to the people in the valley. They are planning for November trip (November 9-19) to train the these two and the leaders in the churches about how they can have clean water (http://www.thewaterschool.org/) This will give the church planters a platform to do good in the communities (Acts 10:38 and proclaim the message of the cross (Acts 26:18). In addition to this they will plan on spending a few days with just these two Church planters working through the Scriptures about what the Bible says about being a Pastor (Prayer  & Ministry of the Word from Acts 6:4 will probably be the main topic).

Please pray for Scott and Matt, I was really blessed through their lives. The Lord has used them to show me more about serving the Lord with willingness and great joy. Praise be the Lord for their heart and devotion for the Lord. His passion is a great joy and I glorify the Lord for their lives and I have a great joy because I can see there are more people who share the true gospel and invest their lives to proclaim the truth. Please pray for them and may the Lord use them to continue supporting church planters indigenous leaders here in Peru and the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

The HeartCry conference on the Sufficiency of the Scriptures is coming up and we are very excited about this time.
This is an amazing topic and I am really thankful for this opportunity. I am preaching on two topics: “The sufficiency of the Scriptures and Sanctification” and “The Sufficiency of the Scriptures and teaching”. Please pray for this, for the Lord to give me wisdom to proclaim His gospel and His Word.

I want to thank God for Luis Alberto T. He is a twenty-four-years-old young man who was going to church since he was twelve years old. He was always listening to the gospel but he was stubborn. He was doing a lot of bad things during his time and his life was not showing true fruit of repentance and faith. He was in jail for robbing and when he was there some brothers went to visit him, to preach him the gospel. He had a false security and was telling them he was a true believer because he prayed a prayer once. But the Lord showed him that he wasn’t living as a true believer and he realized about his condition and come to the Lord in repentance and faith and we glorify the Lord for these things HE did in Alberto’s life. We pray that the Lord give him wisdom and guidance and preserve him until His kingdom in Glory. Please pray for his life and for the Lord to keep him faithful to His Word.

Two young missionaries from the Dominican Republic were here in our Church teaching the Word and preaching about the Glory of the Lord. Their names are Juan José Pérez and Oskar Arocha, who is the son of Oscar Arocha, the pastor of Baptist Church of the Grace in Dominican Republic. They were preaching about The Glory of the Lord. Juan José taught the youth on Saturday about the Glory of the Lord in Creation, and he was using a projector to show some pictures of the universe, illustrating the immensity of the universe and the Glory of the Lord showed by the enormity of it. It was a tremendous blessing for young people and we were able to see how the creation shows the Glory, Eternal Power and Deity of our Great Lord and God. Oskar Arocha was shearing his testimony with us and it was a tremendous blessing for our lives and the Lord used him to encourage us and filled us with great joy for the amazing work of our great God among His people. The Lord used them a lot among us and we are really happy for the unity of the Holy Spirit and the blessings the have been given to the body of the Lord, His Church.

Please pray for the work in South America through HeartCry and we are really thankful for the amazing things the Lord is doing among us and for using us to advance the Kingdom of God.

Please continue praying for youth meetings. We continue teaching in an exegetical way the book of Hebrews and it has been a tremendous blessing for my life and for youth’s lives. I am really thankful to the Lord for this group of young people and I can say with great confidence and joy in the Lord that our great and glorious God has given us a good group of youth and they are growing in their knowledge of the Scriptures and in grace in the Lord. I am really, really thankful for this and my heart is full of joy and gratitude to my Lord and God, hoping the Lord will continue giving me wisdom and grace to keep sharing with them the amazing things that are in Scriptures. It has been a blessing and I have never seen a group of young people who share their faith with boldness and confidence in the Lord. What a great joy to see God’s work in their heart!!! As I teach them the word I remember the words of the preacher: “Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth”. Please pray for these people, for the Lord to sustain, preserve and persevere His work in them, until the day of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please pray for my life and for God to enlighten through His mighty Spirit my heart to be able to understand His Word and the amazing truth of the Gospel in our Lord Jesus. God is the Gospel and this is an amazing truth. Pray for God to strengthen my life more and more through His Word and Holy Spirit. May the Son Of God receive the full reward for His suffering.

I am really, really thankful to the Lord and people who is giving through HeartCry to support missionaries here in Peru and throughout the world. My gratitude to the Lord and many, many thanks to people who is supporting this ministry.

May our Lord and Savior bless your lives and your families’.

May God be praised and His Name Glorified.

In Jesus Christ,

Walter I.
