Beloved Co-Laborours, I greet you and pray that the Lord would continue to sustain you with his grace and peace. Here in Chorillos we are working joyfully and experiencing the protection, provision, and guidance of the Lord. We also rejoice in the trials that the Lord has allowed us to experience. Please pray with me for our twin daughters who have been sick. We thank the Lord for his faithfulness and for the prayers and support that we receive from HeartCry. I have also benefitted greatly from the classes that we are having at the Bible Institute in Barranco. -In Santa Isabel the work is progressing by the grace of God. A group of us are involved in evangelism and discipleship. Recently a woman named Carmen was added to our number. Please pray for her husband and her children. -In my preaching on Sundays I have made it through John chapter 5. We also have been reading one chapter of the Bible each week and then having a question and answer time. -We had a special Mother's Day service with several guests. We were able to share the Gospel and we had a very special time together. -On May 23rd and 24th we helped out a church in Vista Alegre with an evangelistic campaign that was held to celebrate their church anniversary. I was invited to preach. This time was a blessing for both churches. Please pray for missionary Carlos M. who is working there. -We finished the pre-marital counseling with Elvis and Natividad and we celebrated their wedding on May 30th. Their wedding was a testimony for the glory of God. -We continue working with a couple named Adan and Lidia as they seek to understand God's will for their lives. We are also praying for Victor and his son David; that Maribel would come back home. A family left our church after we confronted the woman in the family about some sin in her life. She did not accept the discipline that we attempted to carry out based on Matthew 18:15-18. At first we were a little shaken up, but now we are at peace because we did the right thing. -We continue training deacons, leaders, and teachers each Friday using the book "The One True God." -We continue to support a mission in Pisco. Please pray for this work which is struggling right now. God Bless You, Juan O.
