Beloved Brothers in Christ,

I thank God who gives us the privilege of sharing with you and thus of encouraging one another.

We had our first meeting with the group that left another church recently because of doctrinal differences. We agreed to meet together and to have services. We also established a membership roll in order to be accountable to one another in our obligations to God. We also agreed to tithe and give offerings. We also elected deacons to serve as treasurer and secretary of the church. As a group with are going to be supporting a mission in Piura where a brother named Juan Carlos R. is working together with his family. We are also going to be doing some work on the meeting place where the church is gathering. We will also begin celebrating the Lord's Supper soon.

On the 28th of June we will have an all night prayer vigil. We will pray and sing and have some guest speakers. We have decided that our services will be on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. We will then have a fellowship meal followed by a devotional time. On Thursdays we are studying Romans and on Sundays we are studying Ephesians.

A sister who is 70 years old who does not speak very much Spanish (she speaks an indigenous language) has been coming to our services. One day some of her family members had a party at her house, but she preferred to attend our service. Her name is Bernabe.

Please Pray For...
-The Lord's provision for the repairs we will make to our meeting place.
-Our prayer vigil on the 28th.
-My family; that I would be a good husband and father.

Thank you for the help that you send which is a great blessing for me and my family.
