Greetings,

I am writing to you from the jungle; I am in Tarapoto. I came to lead a segment of the seminary by extension for several pastors and leaders who work with a brother named Pedro. This brother is very beloved to us; men like him are born only once every five hundred years. I'm just kidding, but he really is a man of God who has been and is being used by God. He is 72 years old but you would never know it by looking at him.

Today I came from visiting Pastor Arturo M. in San Rafael.
I went to speak with him about the seminary by extension in his area. This work has been shut down recently due to lack of funding. Men had been coming to this institute from four distinct regions. I will try to come and meet with these brothers together with a team from Sullana. Unfortunately there is no flight into this area from Piura or Chiclayo. We are praying that maybe some flights would open up in order to make travel to the jungle easier.

I am traveling with a first year seminary student named Timoteo and he is from the Aguaruna tribe.
Brother Benjamin C. has also been traveling with us. He works as a supervisor in the seminary. Benjamin returned early because he is heading off to a place in the mountains called Santa Rosa to lead a segment of the seminary by extension classes.

We are praying about taking a trip to visit the Aguarunas in the jungle in the month of October or November of this year.

Your Brother and Co-labourer,

Angel C.
