We thank the Lord for all that he is doing in our lives. By the grace of God the families in our church are growing and being strengthened more and more by the teaching of the Word of God. We have been teaching a great deal on the family and three new families have joined our church just this month. We have begun having small group meetings in homes where we study the Word of God. Each group has an assigned leader to do the teaching. The brothers have been inviting their friends, neighbors, and family members to these meetings.

I have just returned from a mission trip with a group of seminary students. We went to Sapillica, the place where I was born. God gave me the opportunity to preach the gospel there four nights in a row. Ten people made professions of faith. We did a lot of walking while we were there and we visited many of the brethren. In a church in a place called Totora there have been some problems and division. The pastor there has left the ministry. God blessed through our visit and the brothers were very encouraged and were willing to receive help from the church in Sapillica. Please pray for them. We also got to preach the gospel in Lagunas and Sesteadero. I will be returning to these places next month to preach as well.

Please pray for my family; before leaving on the mission trip we were assaulted in Sullana. We were car-jacked and robbed after leaving the bank. The thieves also tried to steal our car but we were able to get away.
