Dearly Beloved in the Lord,

May God bless you my brothers and co-laborers in the work.

During April we have continued to walk through difficult days due to health problems in my family, in the church, and due to the many burdens that the brothers at church are carrying. Nonetheless, this has been a time when we have been more aware of God’s presence than ever before. We have understood that our God is great even in the midst of difficult and painful circumstances.

Two weeks ago a very faithful sister named Dina died suddenly. She left behind three children as orphans since their father had already died. At her funeral we were able to preach the gospel. We were able to preach at the funeral and at the visitation.

Please pray for a brother named Caleb. He has some severe kidney problems. He will begin treatment next week and he is the only one who works to provide for his family.

A sister named Berta in Mochumi continues to be bedridden. A sister named Soledad who owns the house where we meet in Mochumi, thankfully came successfully out of a surgery that she had been putting off for a long time. Another brother, Abraham had eye surgery; thank the Lord it went well. Brother Jacinto has terminal cancer, although up to this point he continues to be able to walk.

On April 10th, during Holy Week, we showed a movie called “Fireproof” which is about the family. Thankfully many people attended and we were able to preach the Word of God to them. Two young people made professions of faith and have continued coming to church since then.

I continue praying a great deal for our church and for God to touch the hearts of the lost.

Please continue to pray for us.

Sincerely,

Segundo G
