It is a pleasure to greet you in the love of Christ. I want to share with you the following: PERSONAL LIFE March has been a month of blessing and of trial for our family and in the work of the ministry. But, thanks be to God who gives us the victory through Jesus Christ, our Lord (1 Cor 15:57) My son recently suffered an accident while playing at school. He suffered a serious blow to the head. Thankfully he is doing alright and the Lord provided to means to cover the medical expenses. My wife and I enjoyed the visit that we received from Brad and Cassie White and I benefited from the class that Brad taught for us on Hermeneutics. Please pray for my son's continued improvement and pray for my wife as she searches for a job. MINISTRY We continue meeting in the home of a sister named Cipriana. We will meet there until God blesses us with some land. We continue to pray for that. We do thank HeartCry for the offering that they gave us to buy some land and we will continue looking for an appropriate property for the work of the Lord. This month we had a run in with the police; we gave some officers a couple of devotional books. In the area of evangelism; we have been evangelizing from house to house. Thankfully, many people have been willing to listen to the gospel. Although, thus far, none of them has attended our services. When we visit in the homes, we usually find women, youth, and children. The men sometimes work even on Sundays and at other homes they just don't want to come out to see us. In some cases, the women, youth, and children, want to come to church but the men of the house won't allow it. That is the situation that we are facing here. On Tuesdays in March we had several visits with the brothers. We have also had some times of worship in the homes. The church has been strengthened by the working of the Lord as they learn and practice his Word. On Wednesdays in April we will be having visitation and a service. Of course, we will also continue with our services on Sundays. Sunday mornings we have continued having a Sunday School and in the afternoons we have been having an evangelistic service. Although, we always try to make clear the gospel in every service that we have. Please pray for a sister named Hermninia. She lives by herself, she has no electricity at her house, and she has many medical problems. Also please continue to pray for a young man named Williams. He was run over by a motorcycle many years ago and he continues to this day to have a hard time walking since one of his legs is permanently injured. In spite of his problems, he is working to support himself. Also please continue to pray for some brothers who are working in a mission church in Tarco (Ayacucho). Pray for a sister named Alicia who is having some problems with her oldest son. The brothers and sisters are persevering in good doctrine. This is in spite of the fact of the constant presence of the Jehovah's Witnesses, the Adventists, and many other aberrant groups. Once more, we thank you for your prayers and your support. Please pray that the Lord would continue to open doors for the preaching of his glorious gospel. In Christ, Miguel Sa.
