Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom we belong to and serve with joy in our hearts. I wish you all the richest blessings in your lives, families, and ministries.
I am writing you to share with you about what happened during the month of March.
During this month I was charged with overseeing the church from the 9th through the 21st while Pastor Martin and Walter traveled to Venezuela. They went in response to a request from some brothers at a church there that asked them to come and teach about the Doctrines of Grace. These are the brothers who wanted to come to our conference in January but that were unable to attend. During this time we continued with all of our normal services here in the church thanks to the brothers and sisters who all assumed the roles that the Lord had called them to. In addition to preaching and teaching, I also went to visit sister Rosa, a sister from the church who has some serious health problems. I also visited brother Eugenio who has cancer. I also visited brother Miguel who is going through some serious trials right now. Please pray for these brothers.
As far as the jail ministry goes, I want to share with you that we continue to take the message of the gospel to the prisoners. This month it was pitiful to see the condition of the prisoners that were infected with pink eye due to an outbreak in the prison. But, this outbreak was not an obstacle for us and we were able to continue ministering there. By the grace of God we were able to get some medicines from some good hearted brothers who responded to the need of the prisoners. This, in turn, opened more doors for us to share the gospel as we administered the medicine to them.
