Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Regarding the Ministerial Academy, I would like to report that on March 1st we had a thanksgiving service to the Lord for the things that he is doing though his church here and for the willingness that he has given to the brethren to participate in these studies. Some of the students have come from countries like Panama, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and the USA in addition to the Peruvian students who come from both Lima and elsewhere.

Regarding the church I am happy to report that 23 brothers and sisters in Christ who had been attending the congregation for quite some time, and of whom several were baptized by us, have decided to become members. After having been evaluated by the elders and having agreed to fulfill that which is established in the church statutes, we presented them in the assembly of the congregation and they were accepted as members.

Likewise I report that the attendance at church continues strong. We continue helping with the teaching for a group or 20 or 25 believers who meet in Los Olivos.

As far as the jail ministry, be praying for us. The Colonel who is responsible for the prison has temporarily banned all religious groups from the institution since they had some problems with some of them. For that reason they are in a process of deciding which groups will be able to continue working there. We trust that, if it is the will of the Lord, they will let us continue to come in to the prison, given they we have not done anything wrong that could give them a reason to deny us access. Today we were called in by the prison’s social worker and, although I was unable to go, Brother Paco went. She explained to him about the situation and asked that turn a work plan in to her which I imagine will be used to evaluate our work there. For this reason we are praying that the Lord would work in them so that we are able to continue working there and serving the Lord in that place.

Your Brother in Christ,

Rogelio A.
