Dear Brethren,

Many Greetings in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We had our Vacation Bible School in the month of February as we do every year in order to evangelize the children.
This year the theme was “Meeting God.” The attendance averaged about 80 children and it was a week long.

Thanks be to God that in our Sunday School the number of children in attendance has increased in these last months. We have implemented the use of a classroom for the youngest children from ages 3 to 4. Ten chairs and ten tables were donated by the brethren. There had been only three to four children so now we need more chairs and tables. Our desire is to always have them in Sunday school and to therefore be able to teach them even from early childhood to know God and His Word. This is especially important because Sundays are the only days we have with them and the majority of their parents are unbelievers.

Now we are preparing ourselves for the month of May which is the anniversary of our church here in Basadre.
Our mission in to evangelize and to continue evangelizing everyone in Basadre and the surrounding areas and we take advantage of this kind of event to invite people for the different services. We are going to have teaching for the whole family as well as an expositional sermon for the young delinquents. It’s my desire to bring in all – or at least a majority – of the kids that are involved in gangs and crime so they might hear the Word of God. I know that it will be very hard to get everyone together in one place to hear the gospel. I only ask for your prayers that the Lord might work in their hearts his salvation.

Your Servant in Christ,

Carlos G.
