Beloved Brethren in the Faith,
A fraternal greeting to you from a brother and fellow soldier who loves you with the deep love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our time has been called a time of great emphasis on church growth, but at the same time these are times of much discovery. We are not only reaching greater heights but we are also going down to more profound depths than ever. By digging deeper in the same place, archeologists sometimes make exceptional discoveries. The same thing happens often when we go back and dig in the Scriptures. But if someone raises their eyes to see the diagnosis of the current situation with our young people we could easily ask if our young people - being in such a passive situation, without challenges, without projects, and without presence in society - could be light and salt in the world?
This has burdened me this month. We are purging some un-biblical music from our services and we are returning to the psalms and to the biblical praise. Likewise we are studying the book of Philippians. God is working and the first shoots are coming up which encourages me a lot. The ladies are going out to evangelize and to pass our tracts, which is wonderful. I beg for your prayers for that which is burdening me so much these days and also for the Chavez family who are so much help to me.
Regards,
DarĂo S.
