Dear Brethren,

Receive a cordial greeting from my family and from the brothers and sisters in Christ in Lima, Chorrillos
. We hope that the Lord continues blessing you in your home and ministry.

The ministry here in Santa Isabel de Villa made little progress this month but we continue preaching the gospel from house to house and we also continue discipling the new believers. In the sermons from the pulpit I am teaching expository messages in Genesis chapter 10 and in Sunday school we are studying the Ten Commandments. For the questions and answer Bible reading time we are studying 2 Corinthians 4.

Let us pray for a family in our church. They support the ministry but when we rebuked their 15-year-old daughter for her romantic relationship with one of the adolescents they got angry and they’ve stopped coming to our services, although we do go to visit them. There are also two new families that have been coming to church, the Vilchez family and the Lazares family. Let us pray for Juanita who comes infrequently because of her little boy who is sick. When she goes to the hospital with him she is unable to come. Let us pray for them to grow spiritually.

Also, as far as the ministry in Chaco, Paracas, we are renting a garage to meet in and we are traveling there every weekend to continue edifying this group of nine brothers and sisters in Christ and fifteen children. Let us pray that God opens doors in this town, especially regarding a piece of land for them to use. I also report that last week my luggage was stolen when I was returning from Pisco by bus.

Let us pray for Esmeralda’s family since her mother has now died without Christ. At the wake we preached the gospel to the family and the neighbors who were there.

Regards,

Juan O.
