Hello My Dear Brothers,

It is a great joy to write this report to tell about the great things the Lord has been doing recently.
I write,  hoping that our Lord finds you growing more and more in the knowledge of God and the One He sent, Jesus Christ and abounding in grace and mercy. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

We have started the Ministerial Academy at the Church of the Savior in Barranco. Many young men from several countries (Panama, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru) will be studying the Word of the Lord for 8 months. It is a great privilege and a big responsibility, a tremendous blessing from our Lord. We are challenged by this and it represents a good opportunity to entrust to faithful men all the things we have learned from the Lord through His Word. I think we are going through a marvelous time, a time when the Lord is working among His people in a precious way. We are seeing a great awakening in the Church of the Lord especially among the young people and this comes from him and we can see the fruit: holiness and conformity to the Scriptures. I am enjoying fellowship with these young people and I can see the joy and the passion in every one of them and their desire to be more like Christ.

We have begun the Academy by going through the doctrine of the Scriptures and Hermeneutics.
It is a great blessing and I appreciate the work of my co-laborers in the kingdom of God who teach the Word of the Lord.

Our brother Martín Z. and Junior C. have gone to Iquitos, a province in Peru, to teach to a group of brothers there. We pray for the Lord to use them with a demonstration and spirit of wisdom. The Lord is using our brothers to spread the Gospel throughout this country, for His Glory and the benefit of His people.

The Church of the Savior in Barranco is growing more and more, but at the same time it represents a great burden in our hearts, because it involves a serious responsibility in evangelism and discipleship. Every person who comes need prayer. We are accountable to pray for every sheep in the flock and it demands great concern on our behalf for their needs and especially for their spiritual health and their walk before the Lord. Please pray for the elders here and the deacons, but at the same time, I would like you to pray for our church to realize this is a Church task, as a whole, not only a pastoral job, but a corporate issue. We have to pray one another. We have to exhort one another. Many commands in the Bible imply this “one another” focus.

We had been teaching in an exegetical way the book of Ephesians on Saturday night.
We are now going through Philippians, beginning this amazing letter of joy and peace. Our study group has increased in number and it is a blessing, but at the same time we have been growing in our concern to be faithful to the Scriptures. We are under conviction of how important is to teach the Bible book by book.

Praise be to the Lord for His amazing love to us. I rejoice in Christ, not for His gifts but for the Gift, HE Himself. What great mercy we have received in Him!!

Our thanks to people who support us through this ministry. May the Lord bless their lives.

In Jesus Name,

Walter I.
