Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I would like to report to you that this month
, despite the hard work that we are doing for the modification of the church’s sanctuary floor, it has been a month of much blessing as the Lord has opened new doors so that His Word might be proclaimed and taught in new places.

As far as that goes I would like to inform you that there are new believers who are coming to our church after having left Agua Viva Church because of the bad doctrine that they were taught there. After having heard one of Paul’s sermons on the internet they found out about our church and starting coming to our services. They talked about the teachings they had received with some of the other believers here who have left Agua Viva. They decided that they want to learn more sound doctrine and more of the true gospel.

One brother let us use his shop in Los Olivos for a place to teach and preach the Word of God to them. It was decided that every Sunday after the service one of us will go and share with them about what we’ve received by grace. So far an average of 17 to 20 brothers and sisters in Christ are coming.

Another one of the doors that the Lord has opened was also in Los Olivos because of a brother that I had met once when he came to buy biblical discipleship materials such as The One True God and The Truth About Man. He called me on the telephone because he is also meeting with a group of men in a rented space and he would like for us to go and help out with the teaching. I think this is a good opportunity to decentralize the ministry of our church since more brothers continue being added to our attendance. There soon won’t be room for everyone.

Likewise I would like to report that five believers were baptized in obedience to the command that our Lord left for His Church. Those who were baptized were: Igor and his wife Eliani, along with brothers Juan, Alexis, and Ronald. I would also like to inform you that on the 20th of February I was invited to preach at the church in Manchay where Pastor Joel is pastoring.

As far as the jail ministry I would like to report that even though they still have not renewed our ID card Brother Paco and I continue going to the prison because they’ve given us special permission so that we can avoid problems when trying to go into the prison. As far as the results of the ministry that the Lord is doing through us and through His word, I will report that despite the hard times that some of the men that we work with are going though, it is evident that the Lord is working in their lives. I would like to ask for your prayers for Brother Julian, that he might not grow faint and that he might continue giving testimony of his faith. He is an example (even for me) of someone who rests and hopes in the Lord. Not long ago they took him out of his cell block and they’ve taken his freedom away several times, but he radiates peace and trust in the Lord. Also, the “EPRCOR” church in the prison had a preaching event in the prison in several different cell blocks and I was invited to preach in cell block 10.

Your brother in Christ,

Rogelio A.
