Dear Fellow Workers in Christ,

Cordial greetings to you from my family and from the brethren here at the Church in Santa Isabel de Villa in Chorrillos
. I pray that the Lord continues blessing you with His grace in your home and ministry.

Here at the church we continue making headway with the spreading abroad of His Word
and we continue preaching His Word to our family members and neighbors. Likewise we are training the brethren with evangelism workshops. We did one not long ago, from the 21st through the 23rd of February. We have recognized that there are still some brethren that struggle to understand the Biblical gospel and put it into practice.

For the Sunday teachings we are studying Christology, specifically the issue of for whom Christ died, and honestly it has been a challenge for me to understand it and teach it. It is one of the Doctrines of Grace that is difficult to understand.

Also, for Sunday evenings, my desire is to teach though all of Scripture expositionally.
We have started with Genesis and we are currently in chapter 6. We also have chapter-long Bible readings as part of every service which is followed by a time of questions and answers. It is evident that the Lord is using this to build up His church.

Likewise we continue discipling the new brothers and sisters in Christ for work in the Lord’s ministry.

As far as the ministry in Chaco Paracas,
we are traveling there every weekend and thanks be to God that there is a family, the Gutierrez family, that I can take turns with for the preaching there. I would like to ask for your prayers for them. It is approximately a group of ten adults and twenty children.

May God continue blessing you,

Juan O.
