Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

May the peace of God be with you in Christ Jesus.

This month we again have been preaching the Word of God from house to house. We have done this before, and not only us but the other evangelical congregations that are here in this area as well. The responses continue to be nearly all the same. The Catholic Church has a very strong presence in this area but we will continue preaching from house to house, trusting that salvation is from God.

Instead of studying Matthew we have started studying the book of John and the church has already begun to get excited about the teachings of this book.

I went to the meeting in Aunt Yolanda’s house three times this month. The attendance has been of up to 25 people and we hope that God, in His sovereignty, might save all of these people.

My trip to the city of Arequipa was a blessing for me because I had an opportunity to preach the gospel to the congregation that had invited me. I also visited several of the homes, and they were very poor. We had to sit in the floor and most of the adults there don’t know how to read, although the children can, so the children read to their parents. I also had an opportunity to teach the pastor of that congregation, Oscar A., some about the attributes of God.

Please pray for this pastor and for his congregation, but also for me, for my family, and for our congregation, for my aunt Yolanda, and for the people to whom I preach when I go from house to house.

God bless you all,

Victor M.
