Beloved fellow servant in Christ Jesus,

I send you a friendly greeting from my family, desiring that the grace of the Lord continue sustaining you in your home and ministry.

We continue working in the areas of visitation and evangelism. By the grace of God new souls have been coming so we are visiting with them and presenting the gospel to them. An example of this is the neighbor Alexandra who has confessed Jesus Christ and has brought her friend Paola along with her. We also give thanks to God that our sister A. and her three children have returned to the paths of the Lord. Three years ago they withdrew from the congregation out of resentment, but now she has asked for forgiveness. Glory be to God for bringing her back to church with all of her children.

On the 7th of January José and Virginia were married after having done some premarital counseling. The Word of God was preached at the ceremony to all of the guests.

We also had our church anniversary event from the 28th to the 30th of January with Pastor Jonás B. He exhorted the church to come together to serve the Lord. People from the church at Vista Alegre and other neighborhood churches joined us and it was a real blessing.

Also, on the 5th of February, our brother Aquilino (who is a church deacon) and his wife Martha celebrated renewal of their wedding vows after 25 years of marriage. They invited relatives and coworkers to the celebration of their silver anniversary so many people heard the gospel. It was a very special time of testimony.

As far as the ministry in Chaco, brother Rigoberto and his family returned to Lima to live in the city. So now we are renting a garage area and sending brethren up there every weekend to continue building this group of new brothers up in the Lord. Please pray for Rigoberto’s family, that the Lord may provide for him a place to live. Let’s also continue crying out to God for the brothers in Chaco and also that the Lord would send workers into the harvest.

Well, I’ll say goodbye now, praying that the Most High may grant that you continue faithful in your mission.

Sincerely,

Juan O.
