Dear Brethren at HeartCry,

Many greetings in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you about our work in God’s ministry and to ask for your prayers for the needs here.

I continue open air preaching the Word of God. It hasn’t rained all summer here and so we take advantage of the fact that people spend a lot of time out in the streets because of the heat.

Our church services have changed somewhat. We’ve been having our Tuesday services in homes to encourage one another, to pray, and to have a Bible study. When we visit a brother or sister in Christ that’s sick or going through a time of great need we bring them a small love offering.

We now have started having our Sunday services at 5:00 in the afternoon instead of 7:00 for the safety of the brothers and sisters in Christ and the visitors who come. This is because on Sundays there are a lot of parties and intoxicated people in the streets and this is especially so at night. Thanks be to our God that the church is doing well with this new change and for a month now we’ve had good attendance.

We are getting ready for the end of February, praying and organizing everything for the Vacation Bible school. Every year we have between 100 and 160 children whom we evangelize every day for a week in the afternoons. We ask for your prayers for this event.

Brethren, we beg for your prayers for the brothers and sisters that were baptized in obedience to the Lord and for the evangelization in the entire Jorge Basarde area of Sullana.

Thank you for your prayers and please continue praying for us. We are also praying for you.

May our God bless you greatly,

Carlos G.
