Greetings.

May thanks be given to our God for all of His recent blessings.

During the month of January we worked hard to get prepared for the church’s 12th anniversary.
We had been praying and we had a fast and a prayer meeting for the conference on family which was on the 29th and for the special anniversary services on the 28th, 29th, and 30th. Thanks be to our God that we were edified immensely by the Word of God. There were seven pastors who came to the event along with 150 brothers and sisters in Christ, many of whom were married couples.

The topic of the conference was “Marriage, Family and Church.” Many married couples consecrated their lives to the Lord. This year we will have marriage retreats with the married couples in the church and also retreats for the whole family. We will be engaging in more evangelism and discipleship through families. May your prayers for the families be strengthened with the Word of God and may many married couples come to know Christ.

I ask for your prayers for the heads of these households from the Compassion Project as well as the fathers from the Maranatha School. Please pray that many of them would be saved. May the Lord work in their salvation.

As far as missionary work, I will be traveling with two brothers on the 23rd of February to Toro Huaca (La Bermeja). We will be visiting the brethren and preaching the gospel to many unbelievers. I ask for your prayers for our brother Berlin, a student at the seminary who is the one doing the work of God there. We have sent him and are supporting him.

May God greatly bless you.

Your sevant,

Javier C.
