God Bless You Beloved Brothers in Christ,

Together with the church we are preaching the gospel in the homes of church members.
A brother from our church invited me to his home to preach the gospel to his family, who doesn't know Christ. There is especially a young girl who is 15 years old and is involved with a youth group in a movement called "EMOS", which is known for dealing with the emotions of young people, with feelings of sadness, guilt and sorrow. The result of their meeting is that they are always sad and that they meet only with those who have the same problem. The purpose of all this is that with these kind of feelings, they end up killing themselves, and this is what this young girl told me about their own 10 commandments. So, together with my wife we shared with her about her situation before God, how God could save her from her sins, and give happiness to her days. We continue preaching and praying for her and she has begun to do two things. First, she doesn't gather with this group anymore, and second she has begun to attend our services at church. We are praying that God save her from her sins.

Also, we are visiting our brothers who are discouraged, encouraging them to continue being faithful to Christ. Few have been restored in their relationship with God, but we continue praying for them. As a pastor, I have visited and prayed for some brothers who are going through sickness, some of them with very strong diseases, which don't allow them to be in the services. Together with my family, I have visited them before each service to pray for them and share the Word of God. To one of them, I gave Henry Tolopilo's sermon audios, he works with the ministry of John MacArthur, this way he can be edified listening to the Word of God. After having listened to these sermon audios, I visited him to talk about what he has learned of God's Word while he was sick in bed. The last week of December he began to come to church. God has restored his health, to Him be the glory!

Besides this, on the 14th and 15th I was invited to preach for the anniversary of the church of Chipillico, where pastor Miguel C
. is pastoring. The topic of my sermon was Missions. It was a very nice time being there with my brothers, and being witness of the work that God began 28 years ago, and continues helping by His grace. It is a church that throughout these years has planted more than 10 Baptist churches, and is also faithful in the preaching of the Word.

On Monday the 20th the sixth module of the seminary finished, and the students returned to their churches to minister all summer until next year (2011). The teachers are doing their evaluations, but most of the students are academically fine.

On December 31st, the last day of the month, I led a prayer meeting for the church. We prayed one for another, for the church plans, for the preaching of the gospel, for doors to be opened to us during 2011.

SOLI DEO GLORIA, ONLY TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
