HeartCry Missionary Brothers:
In regards to the work where I'm pastoring, all our services continue in just one place, which is our sister Cipriana's home. Our meetings as a congregation are on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm, on Sundays at 10:30 am, and at 6:00 pm.
We had the great privilege to have our brothers Brad and Cassie White. It was a time of great blessing for everyone that attended. Thanks to God for the great spiritual breakfast from the book of Colossians, chapter 1. Our brothers and my family will continue praying for our brothers Brad and Cassie White. Glory be to God. We hope to have them here again very soon. Also, I want to thank our brother Jose, from the Church of The Savior of Barranco, who visited us. He encouraged us to continue serving The Lord and trust in His provision.
Besides that, I give thanks to God for the work in Tarco-Ayacucho which continues firmly. Currently, there are an average of 8 people per service. The official meetings are on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Through a period of 2 months and until October 31st, I filled in as chaplain for a pastor in a Christian school. His wife, who has a disease, and his children, who also suffer from other disease, were very sick. Then, I helped them in the area of Computers. I just went twice a week. Also they asked me to share the devotional with the teachers, so I had the opportunity to preach the true gospel to these teachers. There was a class where the students were very problematic, so the teachers asked me to share the devotional with them. Therefore I went to this classroom and with patience I announced the gospel of Christ. Just a few students wanted to see me, they didn't want God's word, but with love and firmness I got the attention of the few. Most of them were very attentive, and really it seemed that it was the first time that they heard about Christ, despite the fact that most of them attend Evangelical congregations.
Brothers, I have seen changes in most of them, in their countenances and in having a desire to do what is right. I have finished my time at the school. They asked me to continue, but I told them that I thank them, because my goals are clear and I will continue with more strength serving with my family our congregation in Villa Maria and Tarco-Ayacucho.
Thanks for everything, for your support, with your generous offerings that monthly you send us.
In Christ,
Miguel Sa.
