This morning I visited with Walter I. He is involved in several different ministries, all of which involve teaching. He is a very gifted teacher and a very diligent student of the Word. Walter helps to teach a Bible Institute for all of the men in the Lima area that are supported by HeartCry. Other local pastors also attend these classes. Walter also teaches several different classes at The Church of the Savior (La Iglesia del Salvador) here in Barranco (Lima). The brothers here in Lima are planning to open a "Ministerial Academy" next year modeled after the one in the Dominican Republic at Grace Baptist Church (La Iglesia Bautista de la Gracia). Walter will also teach some of the classes at this academy. Walter's life has changed recently as he was married in July. He and his wife are expecting their first child. Please pray that the Lord would help Walter to navigate the transitions involved in becoming a husband and father. After meeting with Walter, I met with a young man that HeartCry may soon be supporting. There will probably be more news about him forthcoming. After meeting with that young man, Cassie and I met with Ana P. Ana is involved in evangelistic and discipleship ministry to both young ladies and married ladies at The Church of the Savior. Most of our time together with Ana today was spent in hearing about how the Lord has brought a man into Ana's life and about her upcoming marriage. It truly was beautiful to hear how the Lord had worked in her life to bring this about. Once Ana marries, she will no longer be working with HeartCry. She teared up as she shared how grateful she has been for the opportunity that the Lord has given her through HeartCry to be given to this ministry full time for the last decade. Thank you to those of you have given and have enabled Ana to be involved in this ministry. Tonight we attended the prayer meeting here at The Church of the Savior. We had a very encouraging time together in prayer and in the Word.
