Dear Brothers in Christ:

The church in Santa Isabel de Villa is working in evangelism. Please pray for Cirilo V., who came some months ago. He came from the Aguarunas and has received the word of God with us.

We had the opportunity to go with the youth to a funeral in our town and preach the gospel. Many neighbors heard the gospel. Also, this Saturday we were together with the Sunday school teachers in an activity outside the church building, with the purpose to reach the children and their parents with the gospel. Please pray for His word to bear fruit in the right time.

We are discipling three new brothers. Our sister Karen has returned to God's ways after many years being apart from Him. Please pray for her husband Angel. We continue praying and training our deacons and teachers for God's work and we are already planning our schedule for the rest of the year.

Regarding the teaching and preaching, on Sunday mornings we are studying the attributes of God and in the evenings we are finishing Philippians chapter four. In our Bible reading we are in Acts, chapter 5. After the reading each week, we have a question and answer session.

The work of Vista Alegre de Villa has already been established as an independent church, and organized with its own pastor. On August 15th we held the ordination service of pastor Carlos M.,with the attendance of the neighboring churches. It was a time of spiritual rejoicing for the church of the Lord. Please pray for the Lord to raise up servants to help the work of God.

In regards to the work of Chacco Paracas, I'll be traveling this Wednesday to visit the work. Please pray for the missionary Rigoberto R. who has been sent by the church as a missionary to that town.
