Beloved Brothers:
This month has included many trials and uncertainty regarding my wife's health, but also it has been a month of a total dependance on The Lord.
Regarding the work in the ministry, despite the time used to help and support my wife, I didn't neglect my responsibilities in the ministry. I had plenty to do because pastor Martin traveled with brother Eder to Venezuela to teach pastors and leaders in different cities of this country. During the time that he was absent, I didn't neglect the work that God has given us, the preaching of the gospel, the edification of the saints through God's word, and the care of the church through counseling and exhortation with the scriptures. Also, the other elders of the church have been faithful in their responsibilities in their ministries as well.
Also, I continue going to preach and teach a group of brothers who meet in a place in La Molina and are gathering as a small church.
As a result of all of this ministry effort, we haven't lost any of the people that The Lord has put in our care. So, we give glory to God for the brothers who after coming for a while to our church, have decided to become members.
In regards to the prison ministry, even though I didn't go to the prison twice due to my wife's health problems, our brother Paco is continually going there and I can give testimony that everything is well with the brothers with whom we have been working. They are continuing with the discipleship studies with a lot of enthusiasm. Brother Sotelo has some problems due to his surgery and had some pain, but we helped him with some medicines and he is better now. This month we had a meeting with the prison authorities and came to an agreement with them to improve the rules for religious groups in the prison. With all of these developments, the prisoners are the ones who will benefit the most.
Sincerely,
Rogelio A.
