Dear Brothers,

On August 6th we traveled to Santa Clara to help a family.
Our brother's wife committed adultery and called us to help him. We were praying and sharing the Bible. This brother is broken hearted, but his wife is not. I'm sure that she is not saved. She says that since she was a child she has attended church. We tried to make her understand that salvation is more than just being at church all the time. She listened to us but we didn't see repentance in her.

On August 7th we went to Valle Grande. Brother Alberto, who is the pastor there got married. It was a great blessing, and many people came from different towns far away, and all of them gave good testimony of the good fruits of this pastor.

On August 8th we went to Piscayacu. Some time ago some brothers got saved there. Due to lack of Baptist churches there, they are meeting at a Pentecostal church. All of these towns are in the distant province of Sapasoa. We had to travel night and day through the mountains to get to those places, and our brothers were very encouraged.

On August 21st we were at a brother's funeral in the town of La Libertad.
There were many people from different towns and we preached the gospel. We were there until 2 am and later.

Then, I traveled to San Ramon, the Biavo sector.
There is no pastor there because the pastor fell into sin. Brother Serafin along with the other elder is directing the work, and they have asked me to encourage them and to be someone with whom they can be in touch. They are very encouraged.

Your brother in Christ,

Arturo M.
