My Brothers in Christ,

We give thanks to God for the mission trip that we took from July 22nd to the 30th. We went with a group of 18 brothers from our church. It was a very blessed time preaching the gospel in El Toro Huaca - La Bermeja. This place belongs to the province of San Ignacio, in the department (State) of Cajamarca. We found many people with a great need to hear the word of God. During these six days of preaching, we were blessed to see 12 people make professions of faith. This has allowed us to establish a new work in this place. Please pray for this place and this people. A local brother who came for the conferences in Sullana,who is also a leader of the church, will travel for a month to help these new brothers. I'll be traveling for a week in September, and as a church we'll be assuming the responsibility of this new mission.

A young man who is 24 years old, and who was studying to be a priest, understood the gospel and gave his life to Christ. He asked many things about the teachings of Catholicism and when he was confronted with the Scriptures, he understood and was convicted by the word to repent. His name is Mario C. His father Francisco C. also gave his life to Christ, and Francisco asks for prayer for the conversion of his wife. Also, please pray for brother Lorenzo F., who is the young brother who came to Sullana with us. Brother Reynaldo C, was until some days ago a leader of the Catholic church, and he also gave his life to Christ. He asked us to pray for his wife's conversion.
