Beloved Brothers,

I want to inform you that in the church of Mallaritos I'm discipling three brothers who are being trained for baptism
. Also there is a family that is being descipled by my father, and another three brothers who are discipling other new brothers in the faith. In the coming months we'll have baptize eight brothers who will be giving public witness of the miraculous work that God does in sinners. Personally, seeing a brother being baptized is a joy for me, because I understand that those whom God calls are coming in faith, by Christ's work on the cross, through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit.

On Saturdays my father and I are working with the youth of our church, and many young men invited by our young brothers are coming. These men have an average age of 16 to 24 years old. A young relative of mine, Orfan, visited us one Saturday and I preached the gospel to him. He is attending church as a hearer. We prayed for him and the others who are visiting us.

On Monday and Wedneday evenings, I'm leading chapels with the seminary students, studying topics such as sin, and other topics that pastor Daniel gave me to share with the students (using Paul Washer's resources).

Also I want to tell you that I'm working with the preparation for the ministerial conferences together with pastor Javier Carhuapoma, for the first week of August. The last week of June I've been working in the afternoons, doing the roof for the dining room. This dining room will be used on the days the pastors come from the jungle and the mountains, and this way they may eat in the shade. I'm working in other things for the conferences as well.

In Christ Jesus,

Jose Luis S.
