Dear Co-Servants,

Greetings in the name of The Lord.
I write to you hoping that the grace of The Almighty may continue helping you in your lives and ministries.

First of all I give thanks to God who carries us here in His work and I thank you for your support,
and also for your prayers which encourage us to continue serving in this town of Chorrillos.

Here in Santa Isabel of Villa we continue working, taking God's word to our people. I have taught Biblical Evangelism each Sunday of this month and I think our brothers have understood and are beginning to talk more of the gospel. Also we continue discipling three new brothers, even though we aren't teaching any more in our sister Carmen's house, because no one else from her family was attending. It was just her and her daughter who we were already being discipled at church.

Our brothers Cesar and Judy got together again a week ago.
Even though they are not attending church yet because they are ashamed. He came to me for counseling and we prayed for his marriage. We are also counseling another  very young couple; they are 18 and 20 years old, and have a baby. Jamy knows the Lord already, but Cesar doesn't and is involved in drugs. They have many problems, please pray for them.

On June 11th-13th we were in Huaraz in the small town of San Antonio where we preached the word, helping a new Baptist church. It was a blessing for this new work, my family and health.

Also, this 29th and 30th we had a conference for pastors and missionaries with the pastors from JUPAB, and the topics were "Analyzing the Epistles of Paul in preaching" and "Training for Pre-Marital counseling". It was a very special time for the pastors and missionaries.

In regards to the work of Vista Alegre of Villa, we have entered on a period of fasting and prayer for this work to be established as a church and may elect her pastor because they have existed as a "mission" for long enough. Please pray for the missionary Carlos M. who has worked 2 years in this place and is the candidate to become the permanent pastor. May the Lord guide His people. Please pray  for the work in Chacco Paracas because our missionary there is thinking about leaving the work by the end of this year. Please pray for The Lord to send laborers to His harvest. Please also pray for our brother Jorge M. who will have a prostate surgery and for the recovery of Mariluz who is pregnant and is about to get married.

Sincerely,

Juan O.
