Beloved Brothers in Christ,

We are growing in the grace and knowledge of our great God through His word and with the trials that we are going through, with some of the brothers especially. But this moves us to be united more in prayer and a sincere confidence that comes from a regenerated heart.

My family and I are growing in the study of His word in the devotional time which is a blessing, talking to my children about sin and its consequences. When we go out on the streets and we see a drunken man who is a slave to sin, this is a true portrait of everyone of us withouth the grace  and mercy of God. If it wasn't for the grace of God their father would be worse than the drunken man. Then we don't have any right to be proud at heart or to feel better than others.

We are praying as a church about some activities. God willing I will be travelling to Piura and in August to Ayacucho. I will go there because there is an outcry of the people who want to know more about God's grace and some to be confirmed in the faith.

Also this Saturday July 10th we will have an outing with our church to the park. From different churches in Lima we'll gather with other brothers who are like minded in faith and practice. The purpose is to know each other better and share the blessings that God is doing in each place where the people of God gather.

A family, has visited us a few times and they are very kind and in some ways near Christian. We have taught them that nothing can save them but the blood of Jesus Christ, and this will produce fruits of repentance. We have also taught them that salvation is not by attending Sunday meetings. They are the father-in-law and mother-in-law of one of our brothers from the church.
