Dear Brothers,

Greetings in the name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

During this month, we have to give thanks to God for the things that were given to us because they went very well.
The church is faithful to the commandment of The Lord of not ceasing to congregate and preach the gospel. We are not only preaching on Wednesdays and Fridays in Miraflores, but also we have begun knocking on doors house by house, in the markets nearby, and to every person we meet, on the last Sunday of each month in the neighborhood where our church meets. For this reason we encourage the church with teachings on evangelism in this same day. Thanks to God, the Lord has continued adding more people to His flock.

Also I want to tell you that I continue going on Wednesdays to teach a group of brothers who have formed a small church in La Molina, to help them in the ministry. Also pastor Martin was in Pichanaki teaching and preaching the gospel. Glory to God for this because the Lord gives us the opportunity to go to other places as His instruments, to accomplish His purposes even beyond the responsibilities that we have in the church where He has placed us to serve Him.

In regards to the Prison Ministry
, I also give thanks to God because even though we encountered a lot of opposition and lack of caring from the prison authorities, our brother Sotelo finally had his surgery after having gone through a two year period waiting for this. He had an hernia that needed urgently to be extracted, that is why I give thanks to God, and I thank you for your prayers. I am  especially grateful to a brother from the Netherlands who obeyed the voice of God and helped financially in this ministry. Thanks to God we could cover all the expenses that were ocassioned by this disease. To God be the glory!

I also want to tell you that, despite the problems that we had with this situation, we didn't have a  problem to continue with the work in the discipleship that we are doing in the Cell Blocks in which we are working. As an anecdote of how The Lord is blessing this ministry in the prison, this Thursday I went to visit an inmate that one of the sisters from church had asked me to talk to. When we got there we saw that there was a group of almost 20 inmates that were gathered. We approached them and asked them what were they talking about, and they told us that they were studying the Scriptures. So when we identified ourselves and the work that we do in the prison, they asked us to teach them because they didn't have anybody to teach them. Thanks to God for that, because now we have another place where we can serve The Lord inside the prison.

Your brother in Christ,

Rogelio A.
