Hello Dear Brothers,
Thanks to God, apart from the brothers who left (some who moved away and some who fell away), everything is fine in our church and we are encouraged, even though sometimes we perceive certain discomfort in some people. But we are helping them and asking them to rest in The Lord, because it is His work and we are His servants. During this time we worked in evangelism, preaching from house to house and in the open air. We formed teams of brothers that go with me to witness twice a week.
Also we visited the work in Monsefu which we are doing twice a week. In Monsefu we held an evangelistic campaign for Easter, where we had a good attendance. More than 25 people in those two evenings heard the gospel, and even though we didn´t press for decisions, God in His mercy was pleased to touch the life of a neighbor that helped us these evenings giving us electricity. She expressed her desire to continue hearing the gospel. Please pray for them because they are an entire family that needs to hear the gospel. Also there were some people that we are now visiting to continue sharing the redemption message. Besides all this in the church of Ferrenafe we preached almost in those dates. Many visitors came and now they are people who we can visit and continue teaching about their salvation.
Regarding the teaching that we had during February, March and April, we were with our brothers from Sinchihuai and others from our church, training them for God to use them in the ministry. We hope that God continues helping us because every time that we do these weeks of training (with the brothers from Sinchihual). Every month we´ll do a week of training, and our brothers are very interested to continue learning. We had an attendance of 5, 6 and 7 brothers for whom I ask you to pray, they are Fortunato, Evaristo, Joel, Mariano, Marco and Jacinto.
In regards of our Sunday school, we have more new children from unbelieving parents in attendance. We are going to their homes and we can see much spiritual and financial poverty. Seeing this condition, my wife and some sisters are wishing to begin to have a Sunday breakfast to help these children who attend Sunday school. With all of these contacts thanks to God we are busy and our brothers are helping us visiting people. We are resting in the Lord for the salvation of these people.
Sincerely,
Wehrner P.
