Hello Brothers, THE CHURCH Thanks to God the church is doing well, we continue working as usual. On Saturdays we are doing visitation with our brothers. This includes evangelism, and visiting our new brothers. MISSIONS We are visiting new groups to encourage our pastor brothers and getting ready to start with our planned activities which will start on June 17th. On April 14th we had a meeting to celebrate my birthday. On the 27th I was in Sullana to plan some details regarding the Mobile Bible Institute (theological education by extension) which we will be starting in our area. On the 27th I traveled to the mountains in Saplica, to a place near Tasajeras to preach at an all night prayer meeting. It was a very blessed service. We walked two hours through rain and mud to get to the meeting. The service began at 8 pm, with prayer times and two sermons, and a time to share a snack. During this time there were 6 people who made professions of faith. This service ended at 4:30 am and after this we had to come back with my brother Carlos to be ready to preach at our church at 9 am. It was a beautiful time to be with our brothers in Tasajeras. MOBILE BIBLE INSTITUTE We began with the activities, on May 3rd at 8 am. We had ten students this time, and the next time we will have 12 more. We had our brother Alan G., a professional musician, who taught "Leading Worship 1", and also guitar and keyboards. I taught "The Doctrine of Man", and for next session I will teach "The Doctrine of God" (using Paul Washer's book). We will also teach "Leading Worship 2," "guitar 2," and "piano 2," knowing that in the churches where they belong they will teach these lessons. With God's help we have started and there is a great expectation for the future. Please pray for this institute, that the Lord may help us to continue training people for the ministry. God bless you brothers, Miguel C.
