Beloved brothers:
I think this month has been a blessing and joy in our church because our brother Eulogio and our sister Mireya got married on March 13th, and the ceremony was directed by pastor Martin. Also on the 21st, 9 brothers got baptized obeying the Lord in this ordinance, and thanks to God I had the privilege of baptizing them.
Once more I am in charge of the church because pastor Martin, his wife Mary and his son Natanael traveled to Argentina, to accept the invitation that was made by our Argentinian brothers from the churches there. The brothers there want to learn more about the truths of the doctrines of grace and the gospel. Not only pastor Martin has traveled but brother Walter has also traveled recently. He went to Piura teaching in pastor Juan Carlos R.'s church, while brother Tito and other brothers from our church, traveled to Chincha invited by a pastor who attended the last conference. Besides that everything is normal, we have been going to witness at Kennedy park. Also I have been leading a class for four brothers who will get baptized this Sunday April 11th in our church.
Also I want to share with you that there are more people coming to the services, with the intention to know more of the Word of God, because the Lord has shown them His Word very clearly, and because they found out that in their churches they weren't receiving true Biblical doctrine. They are now participating in a discipleship class which is being taught at the church.
In regards to the prison ministry, despite the problems that we are having to get the this year's prison ID, God has given us grace through the guards who are in charge of controlling the entrance. Since they already know us, they allow us to enter because of the kind of work that we do with the inmates. This month we had a very special time with the brothers and inmates whom we are working with. They have been more sincere with us sharing about their personal problems and allowing us to counsel them regarding these issues. This has been happening not only with those who give testimony to be believers, but with others who are unbelievers as well, who trust in us and tell us their problems, so we can tell them about The Lord.
Also we have helped them with basic needs such as clothing, cleaning supplies, glasses, medicines, food costs and other duties which they are required to cover. Also we have had time to share with them, not only the Word of God, but by taking them food that they are not used to eating at the prison, with the purpose to let them enjoy a nice fellowship time with us, like it says in Psalms 133.
Your brother,
Rogelio A.
