Dear brothers: By God's grace we continue teaching the Scriptures in a expository way. At the same time, I am working in the counseling area in our sending church. The new pastor of that church asked me to help them in the pastoral work and biblical evangelism. In The Ministry: In the church where I'm pastoring, we keep on gathering in the Peña family's home in the neighborhood of Villa Santa Rosa. We have there a spot for our Bible study, that is separate from our regular services which are held in our brother Florencio's house. He is from the neighborhood in Valle de Gocen. We had our evangelism time in the Gocen Valley. I give thanks to God because there are two fruits, our sister Basilia R. and her son Alejandro. Thanks to God for these blessings. At the house of the Peñas, in the study time there was a complete family invited by the hosts. All of the members of these two families consider themselves to be believers. In a moment of my exposition I had to talk about Ephesians 2:8-9, and when I shared this I just read it, and could hear that brother Orlando said: "Brother (Miguel) you just destroyed my beliefs. I thought that by my faith God has made me His son, I thought that was a righteous man. But here it says that faith is a gift from God." I told him that wasn't me who was speaking but the Scriptures were showing him the power of God. Then we continued studying and glorifying God for having taught us from on High. We ended this fellowship with prayers to the Lord. On Sunday March 28th while I was visiting the houses around the work, I went to visit Dario B., with whom I shared the gospel. He told me that in his youth he went to an evangelical church in the jungle. In a moment of our conversation he broke into tears. So I was able to give him comfort with the Scriptures and even though I haven't seen fruit of salvation, I thank God because he shows interest in continuing to hear the gospel. Even more, we have agreed to visit him every Sunday to continue sowing the good seed. May the Lord give us more wisdom to share his message and have mercy on Dario B. and his family. We are so thankful to God for your support, with offerings that monthly we receive from you. With these offerings I can do the work of God with all harmony and support my family. In Christ, Miguel S.
