Dear Brothers:

On March 18th, 19th and 20th we opened a new location for our Bible Institute "Faithful Men" together with our brother Benjamin Cunayapi, in Cieneguillo, in the Villa Maria area. We have begun with 5 students and we think that the number of students will grow in the next modules, which will be 4 modules per year. These brothers are very encouraged as are we. Therefore we trust in The Lord that this institute will grow. This is a very large area where we see the necessity to train laborers for the Lord.

After the week of conferences we began with the classes in the seminary, with a new spirit, and new students, who are eager to learn the Word of God. This semester I will teach Biblical geography, three hours a week.

Regarding the church in Jorge Basadre, we continue preaching and visiting every week. The sister who suffers from Osteoporosis,  she fell down and fractured her knee three days ago. Now she is in bed, please pray for her.

Something that happened in my life this last Saturday: Last year we had to discipline a young lady who committed fornication with an unbeliever. She was the sunday school teacher, and her fiance went to the church. The church reprimanded her and we helped in her restoration, but she continued in her rebellion. She got married and threw a party like the unbelievers, and in a sarcastic way, she invited the members of our church. Her mother was ashamed of this and didn't even go to her wedding. A year passed by and the church has prayed for her, but last week she suffered a terrible sickness which almost took her life, and the life of her son. The physicians were able to save her life but not her son's, and on Friday he died and was throwing up blood from his nose. We knew about this case and went to the funeral, but in an act of arrogance and pride, her husband said to me in a loud voice and before everybody that he wanted me to leave the funeral, saying that we had cursed them. I left the place and I know that the devil took advantage of this situation to cause the rebellious to harden their hearts even more.
