Hello brothers:

On Sunday February 7th in the morning I was visiting and encouraging the brothers of the Evangelical Baptist Church: "Cristo Rey de Reyes" in the Bellavista area. Pastor Raul C. was recovering from an urgent surgery. Thanks to God, everything went fine and with his permission I visited these brothers and also encouraged them in the Christian Life. I was able to encourage them with God's Word to prepare for ministry in the seminary.              

On February 15th through the 19th we had an evangelism campaign for the children. This campaign is done almost every year at this time. Our brothers helped with this event. The youth were in charge of the program, brothers who study in the seminary. Jonathan (my brother) and Angella V. had the job to explain the Gospel to each child. During this week 45 to 50 children attended each day.

On February 2nd and 16th we studied evangelism with an average of 14 brothers and on Wednesday the 3rd and the 10th we evangelized house by house.

On February 22nd through 24th we made a mission trip with the youth of our church. We went to Salitral-Morropon, to help in the church where Missionary Wilmer N. and his wife sister Ester are working. A team of 12 people traveled including myself. The first day we evangelized near Salitral. Evangelizing in this area together with two young brothers, we found a lady who didn't want to open the door for us at the beginning, but then she opened the door and when she listened about her guilt before God and saw Jesus Christ as her only Savior, she confessed to us that her life doesn't have a purpose since she lost her 16 year old daughter. A man kidnapped her and she still doesn't know anything about her. More than a year has passed by and this pain made her try to drink poison but her son stopped her from doing that, then she apologized to him for what she was trying to do. She told us that she purchased a bible to see if reading it anything could happen, but nothing happened. While she was telling us her story she was crying and before ending I asked her what would happen if she could see  her daughter, and she answered: I would throw a party and it would be the happiest day of my life as a mother. It was there where I told her about her situation before God and said: you are lost, but He came to seek and save what is lost, Luke 19:10. She then asked me to visit her more, so I asked pastor Wilmer N. to follow up with her.

On the next day we preached around pastor Wlimer's house, and in the afternoon went to Piedra Blanca to evangelize. In the evening I preached in a house of that area. On the last day we preached in the center of Salitral. In the afternoon we rested and in the evening I preached in the church that is being formed.

On Thursday I traveled to Pampa Flores to teach module V of the Baptist Bible Institute: "Faithful Men". Pastor Wilmer N. and pastor Efrain R. came with me for this module. The courses that we taught were: Doctrine of Man (using Paul Washer's book "The Truth about Man"), Knowing your Bible IV, Homiletics, and Music Theory. Fourteen students received the modules, and the  next Institute will be at the end of May. Before the Biblical Institute I will visit a church in Piscan, at that date.

Also the students were very happy to receive the library which was donated by the HeartCry mission to the Seminary of Sullana, and that will be loaned to the Biblical Institute in Pampaflores, which at the end of 10 years working with the seminary, will be given away to the church of Pampaflores.

On Sunday February 28th in the morning, our brother John C. got baptized, after giving evidence of his walking with Jesus Christ and being taught in the doctrine of Christ and the Apostles. His desire is to study in the seminary to be a Bible teacher. This Sunday in the evening we had the presence of brother Brad White and his wife, sister Cassie White, where pastor Brad shared with us the Word of God in the evening.

Please pray for me beloved servants, while I was traveling I found out that my youngest daughter had health problems, she had a kidney infection, and after taking the right medicines she is fine know. My oldest daughter Sofia will soon start her classes at school. I give thanks to God for my wife's health, who takes care of my daughters, and I take care of her and my daughters too.
