Beloved Brothers, It is a pleasure for us to tell you how God sustains His work in Oasis de Villa, preaching His gospel on every ocasion, and by His mercy we preached against the worldly abuse of Christmas where people wait more for the presence of Santa than for the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. For some brothers it was hard to recognize that we were practicing something that is not biblical, so we decided to give glory to God and to scrutinize our church activities in light of Scripture. In the end we rejoiced in how the truth is making us free from the practices of this society, with the purpose of living in light of the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. On December 31st we gathered together at the church building to receive the new year praying with our families. It was a good time where we could confess our failures of this past year and to make a commitment to be faithful to the Lord in this year that is just beginning. We had worship and a meal together as a family, we give thanks because of that. Sincerely, Dario S.
