Blessings in your homes and ministries,

On December 18th I traveled to Tarapoto where I visited an elderly lady who is now 87 years old.
She used to practice witchcraft and is the mother of a believer. Many times, in the past, I preached the gospel to her but she didn't accept it because she said the she believed in God. Now  she has a terminal cancer and finally she has surrendered to Christ. So for me it is a great satisfaction because this lady, 41 years ago gave me a medicine which saved my life when I was dying in the jungle. She is waiting joyfully the time of her departure from this world.

On December 26th I traveled to Yanayacu, to the Biavo sector, which is a place very far from everything and where three rivers join in one. We had a pastors meeting there, and in San Ramon the sin of the pastor who refused to confess was exposed, and now has been shown to many people. The deacons are taking over the work there.

In New Piura a wolf came disguised as a sheep and wants to take the position of pastor Ricardo C. Therefore next week I must travel to those places to help the deacons and pastors that are going through these problems.

When we came back from Yanayacu we got lost in the mountains, it was late and we couldn't see the road, so we were lost until, thanks to God, an old man saw us and guided to  the right way. We went through hard moments, brother Serafin and me, our fear was that in that jungle we might encounter a lethal snake called " Shushupi." After walking in the jungle for about 4 hours we arrived to New Tarapoto, tired and thirsty. Pastor Aurelio was glad to see us and asked me to preach in his church. I don't know where I got strength but I preached as I had never preached before. After the sermon a young man approached me and said that The Lord had touched his heart and he wants to go to seminary. In the near future, God willing, he will be traveling to Sullana to study there.

We set up the pastors meeting, to do the pastors and leaders conference on February 12th, 13th and 14th, where pastor Martin Z. already confirmed his participation together with another teacher. Please pray for this conference in San Rafael, for the Lord provide the tickets for the pastors and leaders, because there is a hard drought and the harvest is low. I also will be traveling to the km. 45, Molon and New Progress. Thank you very much for your prayers and financial support.

God bless you greatly.

Your brother in Christ,

Arturo M.
