How are you brothers? I wish to send you the report of what God did during the month of December. THE CHURCH At the end of the year we have grown, in numbers, two families have joined the church. On the 14th and 15th we celebrated our church's anniversary, and we had a great time of fellowship with other pastors from churches in the area. These churches brought visitors, and we saw some make professions of faith. Last Sunday we had our annual church meeting where Sunday School teachers were chosen for this year, as well as the treasurer, secretary and two more deacons. Also we made plans for our work in 2010. MISSIONS Thankfully this month was a great blessing. We had many opportunities to proclaim the gospel. On the 11th and 12th we had a special event, with the help of the church of pastor Andres E., from Sullana, and pastor Reinaldo J. from another church. We had a medical campaign for the church and community, in general medicine, and dentistry. We even had a lab and also hearing tests for children and adults. Many brothers and sisters helped us, and others evangelized the unbelievers. There were 12 professions of faith and 7 recommitments, and we hope in the Lord that He continues to do the work. On the 19th all the pastors met together to coordinate what needs to be done during 2010. We decided to have a special event on the 12th with more than 150 children from the community, the main purpose was to talk about Jesus Christ, so we got gifts and toys for them for Christmas, this made a great impact on the community. With the help of a group of brothers we are planning a project for the community, and this project was approved, in regards to helping people improve their kitchens. The project is about improving the stoves, by which 84 families will be beneficiaries. There we have the opportunity to talk about God's love in the meetings that we have with them.
