Dear brothers:

Greetings in the name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, to whom we belong and serve with joy in our hearts. I write to you wishing you the richest blessings in your lives, families and Christian Ministries.

Brothers, during this month I have been in charge of the church because pastor Martin was traveling to different places within Peru and outside of the country too. These trips have been the result of  what The Lord is doing through the sermons of Paul Washer which are on the internet, and are being used by God to rescue His people from the false doctrine and also are being used to create an awakening in His people to know the truth. We have received many invitations from different places asking us to go and teach about: who God is, His sovereignty, the true gospel and the doctrines of grace.  It is because of this, that after a meeting with the elders and deacons of the church, we came to the conclusion that this is an opportunity and a privilege that God is giving us to be a part of this awakening that God is bringing about in His people. So I think that due to this fact,  God is blessing our church in Barranco adding more brothers to the flock.

With regard to the work in the prison, I want to share with you that some corruption has been discovered, where there are prison authorities involved and also one of the more prominent inmates. Among them is somebody called Harry who is the designate "chief" of Cell Block 3, who is one of the people who was trying to block us from working in that part of the prison. But like the Scriptures say: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God." This Harry was very abusive with the inmates and he was an obstacle to the work that we did in this Cell Block. As a result of this scandal we think that those who are involved will be taken to another prison. Despite all of this, the Lord has been glorified in this month through the work in Cell Block 3, where the brothers have persevered faithful and also The Lord has open doors to work with Cell Blocks 11 and 9.  He has added another brother with the disposition to work in this ministry (Pastor Miguel S.), who is already coming with us.
