Dear co-servants,

Receive the affectionate greetings from my family, and from the brothers here in Chorrilos, wishing that The Lord continue to bless your home and ministry.

We give thanks to God for the HeartCry support, for your prayers and for the Bible studies in Barranco which are of great blessing for my life and ministry.

The work here in Barranco is growing, because The Lord in His grace is awakening us in evangelism and we are going out with the church to parks and markets of our area where we preach the gospel. We are having times of prayer and fasting asking God to give us boldness to preach His word.

On October 8th we will be baptizing 4 brothers who are obeying the Lord's commandment. Now we are preparing them in the word. Please pray for them: Juana, Carmen, Luís and Rosa.

Also, we are training 8 brothers for the service in the ministry, with the book "The One True God." Some of them are growing and they are helping with the preaching in the services and in evangelism.

On September 16th, missionary Levi P. was here bringing the word of God, with his wife and their baby. They are beggining the work in Cuzco.
Our sister Norma, who is a deacon's wife suffered the loss of the baby that she was expecting. She was taken to the emergency room and almost lost her life. The church helped the family by donating blood, financially, and counseling them. In all of this God was glorified.

Also this Sunday, the church separated someone from the membership, because for a long time he has been in sin and has not wanted to repent. Sister Shela is better now and went to Chincha with her family.

In September, a new family came from The Aguarunas (Amazonas), we shared the gospel with them.  Pray for Eliseo and Rosaura, for their salvation, because they speak Aguaju (native language) more than Spanish and this makes it difficult to communicate with them.

We continue helping missionary Carlos M. and the church "Christ is The Rock", and missionary Rigoberto R. in the church of Chacco Paracas. Pray for The Lord  keep them in holiness and give them strength to continue in the work.

Sincerely,

Juan O.
