Walter I. teaching Sunday school yesterday.

Yesterday morning we attended the Church of the Savior here in Barranco. Walter I. taught the adult Sunday School class using a book called "Biblical Discipleship" which Brother Paul Washer wrote. (The book is only available in Spanish). During the service Eder M. preached from Acts 1:12-26. I was personally blessed by the teaching by both Walter and Eder. It was apparent to me that the Lord has gifted each of them to teach His word.

At the end of the service, the church had a special time of formally acknowledging Alfonso N. as its newest elder. He is now the third elder at the church. Please pray for Alfonso to have wisdom as he makes some adjustments in light of this new responsibility.

Yesterday afternoon I visited with Ernesto Z. He continues pastoring a church in Surquillo (Lima) as well as helping out a church in Piura (northern Peru). He also continues helping a mission church that is close to where he lives and he is praying about possibly being directly involved in one more mission work in the Lima area. Please pray that the Lord would give him wisdom.

Today I will be meeting with Martin Z. for several hours to discuss several different issues related to the work of HeartCry. We would appreciate your prayers as well.

This evening we will be heading to the airport and we should be arriving at our homes in Virginia sometime tomorrow afternoon.
