The last two days I have visited with four of the missionaries that we support in the Sullana area. All of them are involved in one way or another at the seminary here. Three of them; Jose Luis S., Jose M., and Carlos G. are all also pastoring. Ivan T. is not pastoring but is involved in teaching at the Divine Redeemer Baptist Church where Angel C. is pastoring.

I also spent the last two days teaching parts two and three of a class on the Sufficiency of Scripture for Missions. I taught this class for our missionaries and for the seminary students. The teaching seemed to be well received and I am hopeful that it will be helpful for the brothers as they seek to lead their churches and as they seek to do mission work in a way that is consistent with the Scriptures.

This afternoon we will be heading out of the city of Sullana to the country. First we will visit with Miguel C. who is pastoring a church and is involved as a leader in his local Baptist Association. We will then visit Gilberto N. who also pastors and serves as an associational missionary. We would appreciate your prayers for endurance and strength. Please pray that our time with these men would be helpful and encouraging for them.
