Greetings,

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, we greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Grace, mercy and peace to you.

The Missionary Baptist Theological Seminary

Regarding the seminary, we have been visiting the churches in order to tell them about the seminary so that they might be able to send their students.

The 2011 Youth Camp

From the 7th to the 12th of February Pastor Jose M., Sister Gloria, and I helped to organize and teach the “Conquest Generation” camp for the Compassion International kids from Maranatha Church in Paita, with the assistance of the seminary students. Sixty youth came, all from ages 12 to 16, as well as ten young people from different churches. Several of them made professions of faith and consecrated themselves to God, but we simply leave to the Lord the work of producing true repentance and faith in Christ along with fruit for the glory of God.

The Faithful Men Institute

At the end of this month I will be going with a group of fifteen pastors and brethren from church to the Church of San Pablo in San Lorenzo. From the 1st to the 3rd of March we will be teaching “Marrow of Theology” classes for that church on the topics of the Doctrine of God and the Doctrine of the Bible.

Grace Baptist Church (La Iglesia Bautista de la Gracia)

The church continues to grow and the Lord is being glorified. The Lord adds day by day those who are being saved.

We are making headway with the “God always wins” Vacation Bible School
which is currently in progress (from the 14th to the 18th of February). God has sent us 120 boys and girls for us to explain the gospel to. Please pray for them, that God open their eyes that they might see the glory of God and of His Son Jesus Christ.

We continue preaching the gospel and souls continue to come to hear the message.
Our services are on Thursdays at 7:00pm and on Sundays at 9:00am and 6:00pm. We are praying that there might be baptisms of a few brothers and sisters in Christ towards the end of February since they are bearing fruits of repentance to the glory of God. On Tuesdays we do open air preaching of the gospel from street to street. May God bless His Word and continue saving His people. God continues working and adding to His Church.

For now there are 20 adults and young people that attend the church. Fifty children are faithful to the Lord and come to the services to listen to His Word and to praise Him.
Jose M. and I, the Lord’s servant Pastor Daniel C., are shepherding this little labor of God together.

Word of Life Baptist Church (Iglesia Bautista Palabra de Vida) in Sanchez Cerro

God continues to give us the privilege of also helping a group of believers that meets in a rented house in the squatter settlement of Sanchez Cerro. It’s a group of fifteen adults and 13 children and they are growing in the grace of God. On Wednesdays at 8:00pm they have their Bible study, biblical discipleship, and worship service, on Saturdays they have a young people’s meeting at 8:00pm, and on Sundays they have Sunday school at 10:00am and at 8:00am they have the praise and gospel preaching service.

Our goals this year are to dedicate ourselves to doing God’s will which is that we would grow in sanctification and godliness, especially in prayer, study of the Word of God, and the preaching and teaching of the gospel to every creature, without neglecting our relationship with God and our family.

Hoping that the Lord Jesus Christ will continue giving us the privilege of serving in His kingdom, in Christ our Lord and Savior and by His grace alone, greetings to the HeartCry brethren to all of the brothers throughout the world who preach the gospel,

Daniel C.
