On Saturday I visited with Daniel C. and Angel C. Daniel just returned a couple of months ago from the Dominican Republic where he studied in the Ministerial Academy at La Iglesia Bautista de la Gracia. This was a wonderful time of learning and growth for Daniel. Since returning to Sullana, he has resumed his responsibilities at the seminary that we help to support and he has begun working on a new church plant. We shared recently that Angel (pictured above) has struggled with some health problems in the past few months. He has diabetes and recently he was diagnosed with and underwent treatment for malaria. These things have slowed Angel down a little bit, but he seems to be handling it well. He believes that the Lord is slowing him down to have him to focus on other projects. Among other things, he is thinking of working on a book to recount many of the stories of the mission work in Northern Peru over the last 40 years. I hope that he is able to this, as I believe that such a book could be edifying for many people.
Click on this link to see a video of the group singing "Praise to Jesus, for He is worthy!" at the Sunday School gathering at Carlos's church: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xm7Zqr3EliU I visited Juan's church for the Sunday evening service, which is their most important gathering of the week. I was very encouraged to see a group of young men at the church. Please pray for Juan as he disciples these men. Today, Cassie and I will attend the civil wedding of Ana P. In Peru weddings are broken up Tonight we will head to the airport. Our flight will actually leave some time after midnight and we should get home some time tomorrow. We have had a great trip and are very encouraged to see what the Lord is doing here. Thank you for your prayers.

into two parts the civil and the church wedding. The church wedding will be this Friday. We thank the Lord for the way that He has used Ana (pictured here) over the years that we have been working together. We are excited for her in this new stage in life and pray that the Lord would richly bless her marriage.
