Court Hearing Distributing free literature in Akko Festival Thank you all for your prayers. We had a good day in the court in Akko. The charge against me for selling books (Bibles) illegally is not dismissed yet. It will continue in 2 weeks time on 1st of March. God was with us today; the judge was helping us as he queried the prosecutor on her allegation. I defended myself by saying that I did not set up a stall for selling books, but was only giving out literature from a trolley - for free. When the judge showed me a picture of the books that allegedly belong to me, I told him that those books are not mine at all. I told the judge that I have not committed anything against the law but the municipality officer has confiscated and destroyed my books. The prosecutor retorted that the books were not destroyed. However when I asked her where they are now, she kept quiet. The judge then ordered the prosecutor to bring in the municipality officer to the court also in two weeks time for questioning. I will be asking my friend, who was with us at that time, to be my witness. Please pray that justice will be meted out and bad behaviour of the municipality officer will be highlighted to the court so that disciplinary measures will be taken. And also, God willing, this will uphold the freedom of believers in evangelism in the future. Visit us at www.voice-wilderness.com or www.bibles4all.com for further information and other updates. We will be doing a mission trip to Turkey on Mar 4-12. Please pray for this as well.
